Terms and Conditions

KWAMIE AIRPORT PICKUPS – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Kwamie Airport Pickups. By booking or using any of our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. GENERAL OVERVIEW

Kwamie Airport Pickups (“we,” “our,” or “the Company”) provides airport transportation and private pickup services within Ghana. These Terms govern all bookings, communications, and service interactions between the Company and its customers (“you,” “your,” or “Passenger”).

By placing a booking with us, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
     
  • All information provided is accurate.
     
  • You agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
     

2. BOOKING & CONFIRMATION

2.1 Booking Methods
Bookings may be made through:

  • Our website
     
  • Google Form request
     
  • Phone or WhatsApp
     
  • Email
     
  • Walk-in / in-person scheduling
     

2.2 Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after:

  • You receive a confirmation message (email, WhatsApp, or SMS), and
     
  • Required payment or deposit has been made (if applicable)
     

2.3 Customer Responsibility
You are responsible for:

  • Providing correct pickup date, time, and flight details
     
  • Providing accurate contact information
     
  • Being on time for pickup
     

The Company is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

3. PRICING & PAYMENTS

3.1 Pricing
Prices are based on:

  • Distance
     
  • Vehicle type
     
  • Time of day
     
  • Holiday/surge periods (if any)
     

Prices will be communicated before confirmation.

3.2 Payment Methods
We accept:

  • Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo)
     
  • Cash
     
  • Bank Transfer
     
  • Online payment (if available)
     

3.3 Deposits
For advance bookings, a deposit may be required. Deposits are applied toward the final bill.

4. SERVICE CONDITIONS

4.1 Driver Arrival
Drivers arrive on or before the scheduled time. If delays occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you immediately.

4.2 Passenger No-Show
A booking is considered a no-show if:

  • The passenger cannot be reached
     
  • The passenger is not present 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup time
     
  • No communication is made to request additional waiting time
     

No-show bookings are non-refundable.

4.3 Waiting Time

  • Airport pickups include 30 minutes of free waiting time after flight arrival.
     
  • Additional waiting time may incur a fee.
     

4.4 Luggage
Passengers are responsible for informing us about:

  • Excess luggage
     
  • Oversized items
     
  • Fragile items
     

Extra charges may apply.

5. SAFETY RULES

Passengers must:

  • Wear seatbelts at all times
     
  • Follow driver instructions
     
  • Avoid damaging the vehicle interior
     
  • Avoid consuming alcohol, smoking, or engaging in disruptive behavior
     

The Company reserves the right to refuse service if safety is compromised.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Kwamie Airport Pickups is not liable for:

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or road conditions
     
  • Missed flights due to inaccurate passenger information
     
  • Lost or damaged personal property
     
  • Indirect or incidental damages
     

The Company’s maximum liability shall not exceed the cost of the ride.

7. CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

7.1 Rescheduling
You may reschedule up to 12 hours before pickup at no additional charge (subject to availability).

7.2 Cancellations
Cancellations must be requested via call, WhatsApp, or email.

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  • More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund
     
  • 12–24 hours before pickup: 50% refund
     
  • Less than 12 hours: No refund
     

8. PRIVACY POLICY

We collect customer information for booking and service purposes only.
We do not sell, rent, or share customer data with third parties except where required for service delivery or by law.

9. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

The Company reserves the right to refuse service to:

  • Passengers engaging in unsafe behavior
     
  • Passengers providing false information
     
  • Passengers unable or unwilling to comply with policies
     

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

Return and Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: December 2025

We aim to provide reliable and professional service. Our Refund Policy is as follows:

1. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS

Refunds apply only to:

  • Prepaid bookings
     
  • Deposit payments
     
  • Services canceled by the Company
     

Refunds do not apply to completed rides or no-shows.

2. CANCELLATION REFUND WINDOW

  • 24+ hours before pickup: Full refund
     
  • 12–24 hours before pickup: 50% refund
     
  • Less than 12 hours: No refund
     
  • No-show: No refund
     

3. COMPANY-INITIATED CANCELLATION

If Kwamie Airport Pickups cancels a service due to:

  • Mechanical issues
     
  • Driver emergency
     
  • Operational challenges
     

You will receive either:

  • A full refund, or
     
  • A free rescheduled ride (your choice)
     

4. PROCESSING TIME

Refunds will be issued within 1–3 business days via the same payment method used.

5. NON-REFUNDABLE FEES

The following are non-refundable:

  • Booking fees (if applicable)
     
  • Custom requests or add-on services
     
  • Toll fees already paid on your behalf
